POLICY 8
Sponsorship
A sponsorship is a mutually beneficial exchange whereby the sponsor receives value in return for cash or goods or services-in-kind provided to, for instance, the Community Organisation.
Sponsorships are between the Community Organisation and the Sponsor, not Buddying UP.
We understand how important partnerships and sponsorships are between the corporate business world and community organisations. Sometimes, this could be the difference between whether a club or organisation can afford to continue or not.
This policy outlines the considerations that need to be addressed prior to any sponsorship agreements between community organisation and businesses.
Community Organisations
- must honour promises offered the sponsor in exchange for the sponsor's support.
- will ensure that the sponsorship agreement maintains the professional image of all parties
- will develop and maintain a positive relationship with the sponsor through regular communication
Sponsors
- must fulfil the duration of the sponsorship.
- must be reputable organisations.
- must work with Community Organisations to uphold the brand and reputation of the Community Organisation who they sponsor.
